How to pre-order?
Pre-orders can be placed online through our website or in-store. Full payment is required at the time of ordering to secure your Christmas desserts.
When and where to pickup my order?
All Christmas orders must be collected on Tuesday, December 24th between 10AM to 3PM at Eclair at the Bay.

Can I pickup my order the day before?
No, all Christmas desserts are freshly prepared for December 24th pickup only. We cannot accommodate early or late collections
What's your cut-off date for pre-order?
Pre-orders close on Monday, December 16th or earlier if maximum orders are reached. We recommend ordering early to avoid disappointment.
Can I order something else from the website?
No, for Christmas Eve (December 24th), we are exclusively offering the three special Christmas desserts shown.

- Box of 9 Profiteroles
No other items from our regular menu will be available.
Can I customise my order?
For Christmas orders, we cannot accommodate customisations to maintain our quality standards during this busy period.
Can you make your classic profiterole with chocolate glaze?
For Christmas, we are only offering our three special festive desserts. While our Christmas profiteroles uses the same delicious chantilly cream filling as our classic profiteroles, they feature special holiday decorations and glazes designed for the season.
What if a product say sold out?
Once a product is marked as sold out, we cannot accept any more orders for that item. We recommend ordering early as quantities are limited.
Do you have gluten free desserts for christmas?
Yes, our Black Forest Scene is gluten-free. However, please note that we are not a gluten-free kitchen, so there is a risk of cross-contamination.
Do you have vegan desserts for christmas?
No, we don't have any vegan desserts at Eclair at the Bay.
I have nuts allergy, can I order your desserts?
Please note our nut content for each Christmas dessert:
- Black Forest Scene: Contains nuts
- Crumble-Tart: Does not contain nuts
- Profiteroles: Does not contain nuts
However, please be aware that all our desserts are prepared in a kitchen where nuts are present.
ONLINE ORDERS
Where and when do I pick up my order?
Once you have placed your order, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with the date and time. We are located at Shop 3a/1 Byron Street in Byron Bay, NSW
When is your cut-off day?
Orders must be placed 48 hours in advance of your preferred pickup day.
Why am I unable to pre-order online for Wednesday?
As we are closed on Monday-Tuesday, we are unable to accept pre-orders online for Wednesday. However, we offer a daily selection of cakes on Wednesday mornings. If you have a specific request, please contact us via email
Is it possible to order products for two different dates?
No, you will need to place two separate orders. Two confirmation emails will be sent to you to validate your two orders.
Why can't I order for a distant date?
It is not possible to order more than two months in advance since we change our menu regularly, according to the seasons and the products available from our suppliers.
Can you deliver my order?
At the moment, delivery is not available. For special requests, please email us at please email us at info@eclairatthebay.com
Can I customise my cake order?
We don't do custom cakes; however, we are happy to write on your cake (if it's possible).
Do you do special orders?
Yes, we do. At Eclair at the Bay, we love celebrations. Whatever the occasion, birthdays, honeymoons, weddings, corporate event...we think that sweet treats make people happy! This is why we are making bulk mini eclairs, profiteroles, croquembouches, XL Large Cake for your special day. However we don't do CUSTOM cakes, we stick to our Event menu and what we do the best.

SPECIAL EVENTS, CATERING & WEDDINGS
How do I order a Croquembouche or XLarge Cake?
To order a Croquembouche or XLarge Cake, fill out the Event Inquiry form with all your details. Our team will get back to you within 24 hours.
How much notice do you need for a Croquembouche or XLarge Cake?
The sooner you let us know, the better. We require at least a week's notice to pre-order your Croquembouche or XLarge Cake. However, this will also depend on our availability and whether we have any other bookings for the same day.
Can I pick up my Croquembouche the day before?
No, the Croquembouche is a delicate cake and must be made a couple of hours before your event. Therefore, we recommend keeping this in mind when making inquiries.
Do I need to refrigerate the Croquembouche?
No, our Croquembouche does not need to be refrigerated. Please consider this when selecting your pickup/delivery time. Keep the Croquembouche in a cool place with fresh air.
Do I need to refrigerate the XLarge Cake?
Yes, absolutely. This cake is best served cold. As it is filled with Chantilly Cream, it's important to keep the cake refrigerated and not on display for too long. Please consider this when selecting your pickup/delivery time
I want to book Eclair at the Bay for my wedding, but I'm not sure what I need yet...
That's okay! We require a $500 (non-refundable) deposit to book your wedding day. Then we can work together to look at the menu.
Do you do corporate catering or large events?
Yes, we do. Feel free to inquire via the Event form on our website or reach out to us at info@eclairatthebay.com
I live in Sydney, Melbourne... and would like to book Eclair at the Bay to make a Croquembouche for my wedding. Is it possible?
Yes, we can arrange for our chef to fly to your wedding location, and we can make a Croquembouche on-site. Please inquire via the Event form on our website or each out to us at info@eclairatthebay.com

How many people does your XLarge Raspberry Chantilly Cake serve?
XLarge ⌀ 40cm Cake serve 40 people
What are the different sizes available for your Croquembouche?
We offer three standard sizes based on the number of guests: Small, Medium, and Large. Additionally, we can create a Croquembouche for you with up to 150 choux.
Small (15 choux): $150.00
Medium (30 choux): $285.00
Large (60 choux): $550.00
Custom (+60 choux): Price to be quoted

What are your tradings hours?
We are open Wednesday to Sunday from 10am to 6pm. (Closed Monday & Tuesday)
Where is your shop located?
We are located at Shop 3a/1 Byron Street in Byron Bay, NSW. It's a blue shop between Aldi and Bang Bang Restaurant.
Do you have vegan or gluten-free options?
We have gluten free options, but no vegan options.
Do you do markets?
Not at the moment, but stay up-to-date for any changes.
